Founded in 1925, our club is affiliated with the NRA, and supports a varety of shooting sports and marksmanship activities for our members from the Southern WI/Northern IL stateline area.

General Work Day July 11, 2020

Saturday July 11 is our next General work Day. We have a lot of various projects planned. As we did last month, we are planning a lot of smaller projects so that we can “social distance”. The list below shows many of the projects that are currently planned. This list will be updated and modified as necessary.

Project: Make new numerical number signs for Main Range. Will requiring carpentry work and painting.
Project: Outback 200-M, 300-M Range: Hang new steel brackets
Project: Outback 100-Yard Range: Repair and replace steel targets
Project: Indoor Range: Hang new Styrofoam sheets on sidewalls
Project: Clean Indoor Range and sort through old brass
Project: Seal picnic tables and shooting benches Outback with Thompson water seal
Project; Pressure wash and clean the Trap garage and Work Shop garage outside walls
Project: Weed and brush out Cut Across Road
Project: Weed trim and brush the 500-M Road
Project: Clean the Clubhouse (wash windows, clean the bathroom)
Project: Clubhouse Kitchen: Install window air conditioner
Project: Weed and brush out roadway between Upper Parking Lot and Main Parking Lot  
Project: Make 2 cement buckets with 4 x 4 posts in them.
Project: Black Powder Range: Install posts and build shooting target frames for New 60-Y shooting range
Project: Trim windows and door in the Black Powder Lodge. Will require carpentry work.
