DESCRIPTION:We have Cowboy competitions every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month. \nWe start registration at 7:30 and begin shooting at 9:00. \nWe shoot 5 fun and exciting stages each match followed lunch. We encourage you to come and see what it is all about. \nRemember your eye and ear protection.  \nBRC members if you are looking for work hours we are looking for help at the shoots. \nThe West Defensive Range will be shutdown for motor traffic until 2:00PM. DESCRIPTION:Important!!! 22 caliber rimfire only! Please no magnum or stinger rounds.\nThe purpose of this event is to evaluate the interest for pistol and/or lever action rifle matches.\nThis event is open to the public and participation is free. \nLever action / Sporter rifle match description:\nThis is a 40 shots match. NRA rules will be observed.\nLever Action Rifle: Any lever action with a tubular magazine and mechanical sights\, including aperture or diopter style sights. Single load is allowed.\nSporter rifle: Bolt action rifle with open sights only.\nShooting position: Standing\, unsupported.\nTargets: 1/2 scale \nPistol match description:\nThis is a 40 shots match. NRA rules will be observed.\nPistol: Any rimfire pistol. There will be separate classes for optics and open sights.\nShooting position: Standing. (Freestyle – TBD)\nTargets: 1/2 scale \nAll firearms should be in good mechanical condition.\nEye and ear protection are mandatory.
